If there is a way to describe Persona 3 Reload from my perspective it is simply “beautiful” the game is simply beautiful and perfect it is the definitive version of persona 3 although that does not mean that the original is unplayable the original game is still playable although the Gameplay can be somewhat "difficult", especially if you want the AI to do exactly what you want and then not care and start doing what it wants.
What I liked most about Reload was the expansion of the characters, more than anything Ryoji, the reason why I say this is that in the original he is an important character, yes, but there was almost no connection with the protagonist, making him more than anything else. to force to reveal that it is nyx, in Reload I liked that they expanded the relationship with the protagonist more it is optional if you can skip it if you want, but I liked that they did that.
And it would be all the positive things about Reload, I don't say anything about the story since well it's the same but it doesn't mean that in Reload there are things that I didn't like.
What I am going to say is more than anything, it is a single negative thing about Reload that is something minimal for anyone who sees it. It may be something, let's say minimal, but it is something that cannot be overlooked.
The first negative thing is that the companions who are controlled by the AI cannot use the shift mechanics, the vast majority will surely say “bro, can't you just use direct orders and that's it?” Yes, I would use it, but only in boss fights. From Persona 3 Portable to Persona 5 Royal, I have used direct orders only and exclusively in the game's bosses on normal enemies. I see the point in spending time using direct orders if I can simply let the bots order and I don't know how Atlus, I can't implement the shift with the bots since it is the same mechanic as the Batton Pass in Persona 5 and in that game the bots do change partners, which makes me wonder how it is possible that Atlus can't make a mechanic that was already well implemented but "or surprise we didn't add it because we had problems or we forgot" I repeat, they are minimal things that do not affect the gameplay at all but a thing this small is something that cannot be ignored high.
And that would be all I can say about Reload. It's a beautiful and perfect game and for anyone who wants to try Persona 3 Reload, give it a chance. It's a game with a captivating story and a nice moral at the end of the story that you better discover. on your own.
