Despite being literally just ice hockey, theres a lot of personality and charm with the opponents, which makes the (very short) playthrough enjoyable tbe whole way through!

Super creative combat which doesn't play like much else. Battles don't last many turns but those turns take a lot of thought process. My enjoyment of the system is what motivated me to continue playing the game! Super sweet chiptune soundtrack and fantastic pixel art as well!

The characters and story are generally too boring, annoying, or simple for me. The developers seem to really struggle with creating engaging lore despite a big emphasis on it across their different projects.

Probably the most all-around solid SMT game I've played. Great vibe and a decent improvement to exploration from Nocturne or Strange Journey. Combat didn't stick out much to me but the first area is brutal in terms of difficulty. An absurd amount of demons! Still the best SMT story I've played? It didn't blow me away but its coherent and the characters naturally fit into their roles well.

My biggest compliment I can give is that the game does feel a lot bigger than the hardware its on!
