EliminatoReload played Aliens: Dark Descent
You know what, I think they finally did it.

They finally broke the code and made THE Aliens game we all wanted ,but it plays in a way we never knew we needed.

This one has the tension, the strategy and the consequences. The trifecta of elements that was missing from every Aliens game.

This is the Alien Isolation of the Aliens branch.

It's no Colonial Marines, thankfully.

But it's no Dark Descent either.

It's the one in the middle that is easy to pick up and play once you get a hankering for killing some bugs after rewatching the movies.
Perfectly Serviceable.

EliminatoReload reviewed Final Fantasy IX
Man final fantasy just had infinite charm this generation, and IX might be the most charming and heartfelt of the bunch.

VII might be revolutionary one, VIII the misunderstood follow up but IX is probably the best all around of the bunch.

It's also probably aged the most gracefully

What a weird and charming game this is.

I both understand how it could be someone's favorite final fantasy and another's worst.

It's really all over the place, but odly enough it worked for me. I appreciate the imagination, style and just vibe of the whole thing.

The soundtrack is instantly nostalgic, the visuals were surely a treat back on the old ps1 and the cast of characters endearing.

A memorable entry in the franchise for sure.

Need more experiences like this. Don't underestimare the power of atmosphere and simply just "existing" in a place.

Wish there was a modern remaster and even evolution of this with more interaction (things reacting to you walking into them). Heck throw in a VR version while you are at it.

If "the vibes are immaculate" were a videogame.
