It has a feature called "scary mode" which just adds random jumpscares to the gameplay. And that's maybe the funniest thing I've ever seen a horror game do

Resident Evil 6 is the Spider-Man 3 of video games: A triple A franchise entry collapsing under its own weight as it tries to shove far too many ideas and villains into one storyline. It has really hard-to-ignore jank permeating every moment, but there's also an undeniable charm to its camp to the point where you're not really sure if your enjoyment of it is ironic or not. There were a lot of times during my playthrough where I wasn't quite sure if I was laughing at the game or with it. And, like most bad media, it is best enjoyed together (seriously if you're going to play this, don't bother playing the single player. The co-op is what makes this game worth playing)

RE5 sits in this terrible pit of mediocrity in between RE4 and RE6. It's not a genuinely good game like Resident Evil 4, and it's not a "so bad it's good" game like Resident Evil 6, where the camp of the story and jank of the gameplay wraps back around to being fun and/or funny. It's a pretty painfully average experience that I can only recommend as a co-op experience for the occasional laugh. I can't even imagine how miserable of an experience it'd be in just single player
