A short but emotional experience. The story deals with some mental health aspects that touched me so I did she'd a tear or two towards the end. I really liked that it had an overall underwater theme as well.

If you like to write letters, then this short writing game is for you. Be careful not to make any typos though because you can't erase them :P

A chill puzzle game with really nice aesthetics. It's almost like solving a rubics cube but I feel this is much more appealing.

A very cute game about preserving the environment and the wildlife that lives in it. Nice and short as well with some chill vibes. Very similar to Toem where you take pictures of animals around the island.

A short game about anxiety where you have to complete one simple task. Definitely worth checking out.

The story of this point-and-click murder mystery was quite good and some of the puzzles definitely had me scratching my head at times. I am, however, a little disappointed that the game had some graphical and voice over desync issues. Sadly, no updates with a bug fix was made. What annoyed me the most was the ridiculous amount of time it required to load up the next scene every time you moved between locations and major plot points in the story. It could have been so much better.

This game was an amazing experience and a story that really had me hooked till the very end!

A nice chill puzzle game with accompanying chill music. Even after platinuming it, you can continue to play through more levels.

A tale about grief and keeping the memory of a loved one alive. A beautiful point-and-click puzzle game with a gorgeous art style. A short and bittersweet narrative that doesn't have any dialogue or written instructions. It doesn't need it. The puzzles are easy enough to figure out and you have lovely music playing throughout which is also part of the story.

This is a cute and wholesome little indie game about the love of tea. It's nice and short (I completed it in 2 hours). The story is sweet and the art style is lovely. The puzzles and other in-game activities are fairly simple and fun. Overall, a good chill game that can be played in one session.

A beautiful story about death and grief. The art style is lovely and the story telling was done well. Playing on the Switch made controlling some elements in the game a little clunky but overall it was a very chill play through with some moments of emotion.

Art style of this game was what really drew me in. Love the fact that it's a hand-drawn game with blue ink with certain moments in water colour paint. The puzzles are all very well done however, it did take me a while to figure out some of the puzzles since there are no real instructions or hints. The story also had me intrigued. Overall, a nice and short play through definitely worth your time if you enjoy puzzles and story telling.

My first ever Final Fantasy game in the franchise. I was immediately captivated by the story when I played the prologue so I had to grab it day one and play it through to the end. The scenery is beautiful, I really loved using photo mode to capture some of the amazing views. The character designs were cool but they were brought to life by the talented voice actors. Safe to say, I loved playing FF16 and it was my 2023 GotY.

Cute little black and white indie game. You go around taking photos and discovering things as you journey through each area. A nice and short game, definitely worth checking out.

This is a great platformer but it's also a metroidvania game (which made it my first ever in the genre). Loved the art style and character designs. Lots of fun running through the areas and a bit of a collectathon if you enjoy those. It's also a multiplayer game (up to 4 player) so it'll be fun for the whole family.
