January: Pheonix Wright kicks off this list with a bang! With some of the most fun writing I've experienced in a while, and a wonderful cast. Honorable mentions to Cave Story, another classic, and PokePark Wii. Which I 100% for reasons I will not disclose

February: Imperishable Night as been lauded as a classic by everyone 6 ways to Sunday, and yeah, its certainly earned it. Touhou is a very vibes heavy game, and yeah this vibes. Honorable mentions to Sin and Punishment, a wonderfully fun shooter, and Sakuna of Rice and Ruin.

March: I mean, its super mario world come on now, of course, this takes the top spot. Few games are as pure fun as Mario, honorable mention to Kirby's Adventure, another very cute Nintendo Classic.

April: Coming in for the prize the only and only competitor for April. drumroll, please... A 20 minutes April Fools day game. The writing is fun and the art is cute its nice.

May: A cute charming VN and also one of two games I finished this month. (Zelda took all my extra time) Honorable mention Touhou UFO, which I hated until I simply got. good.

June: A remaster to the sequal of one of my favorite games ever? Hell yeah this is up here. Its weird, its silly, its OST is shockly poinent. Its Katamari baby. Shout out to both Higurashi Part I & II, and Sonic Adventure. The game that reminded me how cool sonic really can be

July: I was wondering if one of these would make it here, and I am glad one did! Higurashi as a series is one I have to many brain thoughts to jot down here. But playing it with friends, and getting to voice Keiichi, Ooishi, and all the other goobers has been so much fun. I started a lotta games this month, but didn't finish any besides this and Higurashi Chapter 4. Guess August will have a lot to talk about!

August: Ah another Higurashi snuck its way onto the list! And what a Higurashi it is. Shion's story is such a brutally painful one. It hurts watching this character choose the wrong choice every time, influenced by nothing but her broken past. You understand her, you sympathize with her, and she is still wrong. I just wish we got a little more Satoshi, he's a fun character to voice. Games completed this month include Pikmin 4 and Kirby Super Star.

September: Do I even have to justify this? Its FF6 dawg everyone adores this game. Celes is one of my personal favorite protagonists ever. It's beautiful in its sprite work, it's delightfully funny, and it's a perfect first FF6 game, for me anyway. This is the only game completed this month.
