I actually think this games problems are pretty obvious. I have yet to play the original Yakuza (One day), but even I can tell the presentation here is not even close to the original. From what I have seen, pretty much the only charecter this game does anything new with (that isnt also bad in a way) is Nishiki. He has a gut renching story, which hurts all the more after playing 0 for the first time.

Listen I love Majima but holy shit why is Majima everywhere, its funny for like two seconds and then you look at the upgrade chart.

I fucked up and got all the stray fairies in the 4th dungeon but reversed time before claiming the prize. Fun game.

This is a video game that I despise. If this spells the future for remakes, just do rereleases Game Freak porting your games is a literal gold mine

Man what a game. It was so fun that I did not put it down and beat the main story in three-ish days. While the presentation is a little on the eh side and the zones as opposed to a fully open world detract, it was a breath of fresh air for the series.

This game is pretty fun. I don't really have anything specific to say. It made me appreciate Dodrio and Primape a lot more than I used to in my most recent playthrough.

This review contains spoilers

This game has some of the highest highs and lowest lows of the series that has entries like BDSP and SWSH. The region is kind of bland, the mons are a mixed bag, and the balance is all over the place. The game is pretty east as well. However, the post-game story is some of the best story Ive seen in Pokemon, I did not see the twist coming to be as brutal ad it is. The professor being a robot is not that hard to see, but him being a more caring parent to Arven than the real man is heartbreaking. Being able to travel the world with friends is cool if a little glitchy for it's first real implementation. Why does it not have the shiny sparkle tho, like why Game Freak. The DLC is okay, the Blueberry Academy is much better than any DLC before and is really fun to play through. The Unova bias is coming through again.

This games only real sin is being a little boring. Also why add the Alolan versions of the mons if they cant have the signature moves (Can you tell I used Alolan Marowak?)

The base game is so barebones I would not rate it on its own. Very good Pokémon design tho. The DLC is where most of the rating comes from, and that's only because of the Tundra part.

Well...the storys worse but you can catch Marshtomp so...thats all

Man if you could fuse this and SOME of the Ultra additions, this might be the second best Pokémon game. The cutscenes can suck on a re-play, but the story and "evil" teams are great and a neat diversion from terrorism, eco-terrorism, and whatever the hell Cyrus was on. Lusamine is ruined in every other piece of Pokémon media (except maybe the manga I have not read it yet) and that is a shame.

Fun fact: I won a OU tournament with friends using Comfey as my main gimmick, it was really funny

I actually really like this game, it is missing the Battle Frontier but it is basically Hoenn with some really cool additions. Listen Mudkip is a starter and I can use Mega Swampert, I love him.

Okay look this game does kinda suck, but I do enjoy some things! It is way too easy, even if you switch out your Pokémon often. The gym leaders are meh and the evil team is...Lysandre. I don't really love Kalos, but it was a decent first step into 3D. Still funny Charizard got two megas and they couldn't come up with one design for Flygon.

Listen, I get that the dex thing was contrversial. But hey, Unova is so awesome you will forget that in an instant. The story is the only thing I would say is better than BW2, but that is not a bad thing. Hilbert is my favorite protag because of his relationship with N that is explored more in Masters and the manga. Unova is my favorite region, but it took one more game to create a 5 star Pokémon game in my eyes.

Okay, this game is stylistically beautiful and I love it, but also holy shit why do they limit the pokemon so much. Fuck you if you like Sinnoh, so many of those new evos are locked to postgame (Togekiss my beloved). Level curve is so bad man, I don't want to grind in a Gen 4 game. It should be 4 1/2 star, but my recent playthrough showed me once again how dumb some of these decisions were. Johto is a great region

Gen 4 is such a generation. I love the dex a lot and this game is so cool until you play it and realize the slowness is not an exaggeration. Still better than THAT version of Sinnoh
