Great concept, but let down by repetitive gameplay and uninspired puzzles. Had to make myself finish it near the end, but glad I played it in hindsight.

The atmosphere, graphics - especially Senua's mocap - are amazing. She felt very believable and Senua is definitely one of the more interesting protagonists in gaming.

With some truly unique aspects such as the portrayal of psychosis, this could have been one of those few games which really drive forward & showcase the benefits of this medium over others... Yet while being thematically immersive I found the gameplay to feel like a demo for its entirety.
