How good advertising can make a retrospectively somewhat mediocre platformer successful.

Hey we have some spare tech demos lying around what should we do with them?

MAKE THEM INTO SIXTEEN SHORT GAMES AND PACKAGE THEM AS A WARIO GAME

...genius.

As someone who's been playing WarioWare since Touched, this game was a let down.

Sure, it's still fun, but it doesn't feel as replayable. I often go back to the original, Touched, Smooth Moves, Gold heck even D.I.Y. and Game & Wario but this game is just accumulating dust while I play the others.

The thing is, I'm not sure what this game did wrong. I like the multiple playable characters concept but in execution you just find one you like and play that for the rest of the game. I like the different style of microgames but to me they just feel like a similar few concepts repeated instead of the more wacky stuff you sometimes run into in traditional WarioWare. There's also the thing where you can level up characters and change their colours... that exists.

The problem is that I think this game just doesn't have as much variety as the other WarioWares. This is a problem D.I.Y. shares but at least with that you can make your own microgames. Here however, you're just playing microgames and that's it. There are the bonus modes which are decently fun with friends but they don't offer much in terms of actual replayability.

It's a fine game, but it's very disappointing in terms of being a WarioWare game.

WHY DOES THE MULTIPLAYER NOT SUPPORT DOWNLOAD PLAY ):

I had more fun with this than Super Mario Kart lol

The first seven zones are great!

The last four are... uh...

I have no idea what's happening but I love it

PAC-MAN VS carries this so hard

really fun despite how simple it is

It's fun making four teams of AI controlled slimes and watching them all kill each other.

Given that's the thing I remember the most, that should say a lot about it's content.
