Pretty, austere rooms and landscapes partnered with woefully esoteric puzzles and communication.

The game does give you hints which pretty much spoil all the puzzles if they really do seem too esotric to you — I honestly found that the puzzles were generally pretty obvious at a glance, because they did not have many moving parts. The only esoteric puzzles in my opinion were the secret star puzzle, and the puzzle with the turning dials (I still don't understand how that zig-zag line represents '3, 6, 3, 6' — I guess it's based on the shapes that you are shown in the middle?)
