It’s so simple but it just feels SO GOOD. Most roguelikes are characterized by being replayable and challenging, and Downwell really boils it down to the very essence of the genre.

The pinnacle of Kirby. I love everything about this game, from the music to the mini games. It still holds up and brings back fond memories.

I hate Blizzard, with their blatant shady practices and false promises, but it would be disingenuous to say it’s a bad game. I still have a lot of fun with it, and although it comes with all the problems of being a competitive shooter, I’m going to continue playing it and enjoying it.

I FUCKING LOVE SHORT GAMES.

I came out of this game with so many memorable moments that make me want to go back.

It’s kind of perfect. It is, in fact, a short hike, and every moment of finding everything that can be found on the little island is relaxing and fun.

A cute, easy game with a nice story and likeable characters. It’s not flawed in any particular way. Just a nice experience with awesome design.

This game is satisfying, visually interesting, but not that fun. Overall I enjoyed it, but some parts that I felt were supposed to be difficult underwhelmed me.
