Inside evolves from the previous game made by these developers Limbo in almost every way. The game looks much better, giving depth to the environments. This helps add to the storytelling and overall atmosphere of Inside. The checkpoints are forgiving and the puzzles feel less obscure, while also making me think to solve them. I really enjoyed this game.

I played Limbo on Xbox One a few years back, but decided to play it again on PC and go for all achievements. The main campaign is a very fun puzzle game, that lets you die and learn from those mistakes to continue forward. I didn't expect it to make me tense up as much as it did, but that's part of the thriller aspect of Limbo that I really enjoy. The achievements are very doable, as I got most of them playing through the game naturally. However, the No Point in Dying achievement really put me through the wringer. I wish it didn't exist to be honest, as it seems like their follow up game Inside removes this type of achievement. Overall, it was a fun game with simple gameplay, a minimalist story, and lots of thrills and puzzles to solve.
