Been thinking about it, but postgame ALONE makes a case for this being a perfect game.

Silver Snow Route

I'm bumping the score back up to a 9, it's still a masterpiece. This might be my least favourite route, though, which sucks because the Black Eagles are my favourite characters--not a single bad character. Also the final boss is easily the weakest. Apart from that, it's still lots of fun and very good and yup.

Short and sweet and so much fun to play! I wish the story was richer because these are some of my favourite characters in all of gayming... also Acht is there.

Verdant Wind Route

I feel like the story problems with each of the routes are starting to wear on me, but I still absolutely love to gameplay. The Golden Deer class is MUCH better than the Blue Lions, but imo still not as funny and cooky as the Black Eagles.

Azure Moon Route

Wow, a lot better storytelling-wise than CF, but MAN are the Blue Lions class kinda sorta boring. Only real standouts are Dimitri, Annette, and Felix, and Ingrid is SUCH a boring character. Still a lot of fun to play :D

Crimson Flower Route

I love the gameplay and I especially love the characters. Bernadetta is easily my favourite out of the Black Eagles and probably will remain my favourite after playing the other routes. I just wish the Black Eagles were in a slightly better story lol. Can't wait to get to the other houses.

Randomly decided to play this again and was hit in the feels.

It probably doesn't deserve this rating, but it means a lot to me. Your choices really do affect the people around you. You need to find the right words to really deepen your bond with your friends. The important thing is to simply be there for others, not necessarily be their guide in life. Just listen, validate their feelings, and do with them what makes them happy.

You can make some really weird stuff happen in this game.

This is genuinely so much fun.

You know, the gameplay is really fun 8/10, but dammit the story is fantastic and that ending made me cry so hard, so I'm adding a whole nother point. 9/10.

I remember playing this game ALL the time when I was a little kid. I love it.
