In my view, Kentucky Route Zero is a mystery game. It isn't one of those mystery games where you collect all the info and solve the mystery, though. The mystery is the point, and while the stories of the people you encounter get told, they leave plenty off the table and free to interpret. What is there is written in a nonchalant tone that somehow still feels deliberate. It is a joy to read through the text, but the game does not stop there. The visuals are striking, and the way that the game presents itself changes frequently, often innovating on the very ways that you interact with it.

I'm really not sure if I can consider this one as a game.. What would I call it instead? Probably just a play. But I would have to think more about it. So instead I'll express this: There's a moment in KRZ where both me and my best friend just had a quiet cry together without saying a word to each other.

Can't say I've had that experience with anything else you would see on this website!

Overly long and not very rewarding, almost all of the charm of the past LEGO games isn't present here. On top of that, the 100% process is extremely tedious and grating and by the time you're even ten hours in the game feels like a checklist instead of, well, a game. I wish there was much I could say is great about it but overall it's just really boring. At least the classic Star Wars soundtrack is present and in full effect and the level cutscenes have some good comedy to them.

[en] yes, i killed everyone on the first try to save the blue haired lesbian. but i got the meaning of her death, i know that she's had to be dead since the first time we save her, and the game just keep showing you that you need to let her go, at the same time they make you love them both, but chloe specially. i mean, shes a kin for me so, yeah. when you finish it on your true (first) run, try to see some guides to get some good endings for some characters, it's cool too. if you can, don't play it putting your heart in it, it will get crushed. it's not a 10/10 for me for some reasons, but a big 9.5/10.

Favorite game of all time. The story is amazing, the atmosphere is great, the characters are fun! Then you have the co-op that anyone can get into, and the workshop chambers for limitless puzzles. 10/10 amazing game.

Does for Twin Peaks fans what Jaws did for sharks
