This was my most anticipated release of the year. With the direction the Paper Mario series had been going since Sticker Star I never would have expected them to remake TTYD.
I am so glad that they did. They fixed a lot of the back tracking elements and even added a bit of new content.
They bump up the charm- characters' facial expressions change and they have voices that make them sound like Animal Crossing characters. I miss is the crowd cheering during the combat, but that's the only negative thing I can think of. This is such a good remake, and it's exactly what I wanted.

I really like the new music and I even think a couple of themes improved from the original (big fan of the Glitzpit). Only criticism of the new music is some tracks get lost in the sauce and deviate from the core sound of the originals.

Having a modern way to play TTYD is such a big deal- if they don't go back to the formula of Paper Mario that I love I can just boot up this bad boy up. This is one of the best games I have ever played. It's just too good man.

Graphics and setting are top notch for a game that came out almost a decade ago as of this review. The bosses felt much easier compared to the 1st game, but still a good entry in the series.
