What a great start to the generation. Ratchet & Clank has been one of my favorite franchises since my childhood and this is by far the most satisfying game to play yet, with amazing mechanics, graphics and a heartwarming story. The game makes full of use of the ps5 potencial, specially the dualsense. Mandatory for everyone who plans to buy the console

I named my character ARTUR and just laughed about it for all the runtime. GOTY

Even though, as you would expect, some gameplay aspects don't pass flawlessly the test of time (most of those being the ones that involve gimmicking around with the game's movement), FF7 has an absolutely timeless story, with iconic, charismatic characters, and a jawdropping amount of content that will keep you hooked for hours to no end.
The combat system also deserves a high praise: Materias grant the player an infinite way of playing around with each character's builds, and the variety they have is stunning. They can even make the game's difficulty a complete joke if you know what you're doing, but hey, I had so much damn fun.
An absolute must-play in the series. Excited to play the remakes.

Spider Man 2 is a great improvement from the first game in various aspects, from movement to combat and obviously, the graphics. Even though I wasn't the biggest fan of how the story, specially the villains were handled, it's a good distraction and when it comes to the more personal aspects of the world and it's characters, it felt actually really good.
Having that said, I really wish the side content was a bit better, even though the writing in the FNSM missions is superb, I felt like the game lacked a couple more of side activities and the ones we have aren't all that good with some exceptions. The combat can get pretty broken by the end game too.
This game is a great effort from the really talented team that is Insomniac's, but I can't really convince myself that it's better than the first one. I definitely liked it more than the Miles' game, but sometimes the worldbuilding and the side activities felt a bit lacking, even if they have a promising start. I can't say I didn't have a blast with this game though, every time I put my hands on it the hours just fly by - it's a really good experience, but with a lot of room for improvement and a couple of issues that I just couldn't ignore


Got one-shotted by dragons a couple of times. The Shara Ishvalda PTSD is real. And I still haven't even done Alatreon or Fatalis so I might go bald. One of the best games I've ever played in my life, 10/10

I bought Ghost of Tsushima around December last year but only now did I finish it. This because I genuinely wasn't liking the combat that much, not because the combat is bad, but because at it's early stages is waaaay more difficult compared to after you unlock all the styles, and I wasn't liking the difficulty at the beginning. Now, when it comes to my thoughts about the game as a whole:

STORY:
The game's strongest point by a good mile. The characters are charismatic, easy to like and memorable. The plot is not very long nor very short, and runs at quite a quick pace, so it never gets boring while giving proper development to all the side characters via side missions, which i advise everyone to do (Tales of Tsushima), since all the character's conclusions are in there. I don't really want to spoil anything about it, but it's undoubtedly one of the best I've experienced in the games I've played recently.

GAMEPLAY:
Ghost of Tsushima has a lot taken from other recent open worlds, and that's something that applies to the overall side mission system as well. Even though I like what the game presents as a base, I do think it gets repetitive after a couple of hours. Basically all the Bosses/Duels deal with the same move sets, with some rare exceptions, and the game gets easier and easier as you progress since it gives you more and more tools to combat your enemies, while they are more stale and pretty much keep the same moves throughout. There were times I could predict all of the bosses moves just by looking at their gear, and even though I didn't consider it a deal breaker, it's one of the main reasons the game gets so repetitive.

SIDE MISSIONS:
For the ones who want to go after 100%/platinum, I think it's a good one to pick up since itr's not that difficult. But if you want to go after it, you have to get ready for, just like I mentioned before, repetitive side missions and also a ton of collectables that suffer a bit from unoriginality since both their rewards and how they work are pretty much borrowed from other open world's from nowadays.

In conclusion, Ghost of Tsushima is a pretty good experience. Even though I criticized a lot of it's aspects throughout the review, the game would be worth for the story alone, but as the gameplay is repetitive, it works pretty well and barely made me get mad at the game for malfunctioning or something. I just wish they had worked more on refreshing it so it wouldn't become so more of the same after a while.
