Way better than I was expecting from any of the screenshots or trailers I had seen. Went in expecting a short and easy achievement game, but ended up taking it much slower than I thought I would. Really enjoyed the story, writing was very well done, the way you can make choices and change outcomes was interesting. Very fun 2-3 hour experience.

Honestly I wasn't sure how well this game would hold up after all these years, but after playing the release on Xbox, I'd say it did a pretty good job of standing the test of time. It took a while to get back into the groove, but once I got there I had an awesome time. Biggest drawbacks are that some of the objectives can be unclear or confusing and it's easy to get lost in some of the maps. But I really enjoyed the 15-20 hours it took me to clear everything in this one and am happy that I went back to replay it.

Plenty of other retro fighting games to chose from, that offer a much better experience

Decent attempt at a party game, but falls a little short. Questions aren't that interesting and some of the "trivia" is heavily location based which can throw off your groups answers.

A fun, goofy and silly battle royale that is best enjoyed in a group with your friends. Rating would be higher, but my playtime and enjoyment have both fallen since the introduction of Free-to-play. Instead of being able to earn fun costumes and emotes, now the best ones are locked behind paywalls. Took a lot of the fun out of it for me, but still fun to jump in with a group from time to time

Off the success of Fable 2, I think myself and a lot of others had higher hopes for 3, but were a bit let down by the end product. I think the game has some fantastic ideas and it tries to make good on all of them, but ends up falling short in a few areas. The third act of the game being the weakest, once you become the ruling Monarch, again the ideas are there but the choices you have to make end up feeling a little hollow in some instances, and unfair in others. Not every scenario should be black and white, and to have your early triumphs be boiled down to a 50/50 choice falls a bit flat in the late game. Nonetheless, still an enjoyable fable experience and without the heights of 2 as its predecessor, I think this one could have stood a little taller.

This is the one that completely hooked me. I absolutely lost myself in this world when it released and spent hours just exploring the lands, interacting with all the different people in town, taking jobs, singing songs, and adventuring with my dog. The finale will probably leave a bad taste in some people's mouths but I thought it was a fun encounter that flipped the normal "final fight" on its head. Extremely fond memories of this game, and can easily say it is my favorite of the 3 mainline games.

2004

This is the Fable game that I am furthest removed from, but I remember enjoying my time, with no intention of going back. I don't think this one has aged quite as well as the other two, but it should be praised for being unique and creative for the time it was released. It got the ball rolling on a fantastic franchise.

Honestly something about this game just clicks for me. I'm able to put on music or something in the background and just zone out and clean things. This DLC was a great collaboration and its clear the devs had just as fun making it as I had playing it. Very happy with this one.

2023

Very cute story. Game is essentially a visual novel with very light gameplay elements throughout where you have to cook several different dishes.

Cute little adventure game. Would probably be a good introduction to a 3rd person adventure style game for someone who hasn't played them before. Art style is cute, story is OK.

Great concept, fun for a little while but repetitive enemies and level formats brings the experience down a bit. Took about 4 hours to 100% everything, so the game doesn't drag too long.

Extremely buggy, constant crashes, but easy achievements. Clearly had a little more thought and effort put into it compared to most achievement shovelware, but the technical issues were far too glaring to overlook.

Everything I wanted from the next Pikmin game and more. Pikmin is one of my favorite franchises and this game absolutely knocked it out of the park. The tutorials and heavy dialogue in the beginning of the game were my only minor complaints, but once you are past them, the game opens up in a fantastic way and just keeps ramping up from there. Wonderful experience and highly recommend even if you haven't played any of the past games. This serves as a great starting point for anyone new to the franchise.

Not sure who the target demographic is here. Its basically asteroids/galaga but set to EDM. Easy achievement list, nothing special.
