Game holds up decently well even years after its release. Lots of fun with a group of 4. Old school beat em up brought to the modern day of games

Can bring hours of entertainment with a group of friends, especially during quarantine, but loses its appeal quickly after extended play sessions.

Stopped trying to understand what was happening about 6 hours in. I tried my best but I just couldn't keep up. The game is fantastic, visuals are absolutely gorgeous, and the combat and new abilities you unlock are all super fun. Learned to just accept the story and let it wash over me without trying to absorb and understand.

2016

Short fun puzzle experience. Very chill, worth experiencing.

Beautiful game, enjoyable characters, fun environments, but slightly lacking on the gameplay side. Worth experiencing.

One of the first true horror games I remember playing. Enjoyable experience, satisfying puzzles. Curious how it would hold up ~12+ years later.

My first arcade air combat style game. Really enjoyed the experience.

1996

Got it off a cereal box in the late 90's. Was very cool to see the board game brought to life as a kid.

Played for Achievements, relatively forgettable experience. Concept of playing as a child was interesting but thought some of the overarching messages were a bit heavy-handed.

One of the hardest gameboy games I owned as a kid. I don't think I ever actually beat it. Game only lasts around 30-40min by todays standards, so the difficulty was there to artificially increase the length of the game.

Really wanted to like this more, but just couldn't get into it. Very unique design, great soundtrack, the games mechanics just didn't grab me. May have to try again in the future.

Another fun puzzle game. Very unique perspective and level design. Using the camera and touch controls to figure out each level was always a good time. Fun to see Captain Toad shine in his own little adventure.

What could have been. Flying mech suits was fun, and everything else sucked.

Enjoyable and cozy experience, able to take the game at whatever pace you would like. Can't help but feel there was some missing potential here, as a number of quality of life updates could have solved numerous headaches I had with the game. Still recommended based purely on the number of hours I put in.

Fun Side scrolling shoot em up from the xbox arcade days. One of the first free games I remember playing on 360.
