Overall a weaker addition than DLC1 but still enjoyable. While I have nothing against Yaesha as a world, it is becoming quite repetitive. Fortunately, The Forgotten Kingdom does bring in a new archetype and items to freshen up the experience, and the storyline is easy to follow and surprisingly intriguing.

Palworld is an odd mix of mechanics from various existing games and genres that somehow work to form a surprisingly cohesive and enjoyable experience. From base building and automation, to roaming an open world and catching a bunch of cool and cute pals, to survival mechanics and crafting. There's a lot of variety to each mechanic and they naturally feed into each other, creating a fun and addictive gameplay loop.

But despite the initial praise, it is still an early access game and has its flaws. The pathing of pals can be really jank and they often get caught on objects, leading them to constantly being stuck and necessitating a lot of extra micromanaging. There's not a lot of variety to the body shapes and types of pals in the world - a lot of them use very similar skeletons. And then there's the question of plagiarism, as both the mechanics and pals are dangerously close to feeling cloned.

I am excited to see more of it going forward and I hope its extreme popularity helps propel its progress.

A good expansion to a narratively interesting and immersive world from the base game. The new class shores up a missing aspect of builds and the new weapons & items further expands your ability to create fun and exciting builds.

Despite some bugs and issues at launch, Remnant 2 was a wonderful experience and a clear improvement over it's predecessor. Satisfying mix of shooter combat mixed in with soulslike enemy designs and mechanics.

One of my favourite aspects with the game is the sheer amount of replayability and character customization you have with the various classes, weapons, equipment and accessories, allowing you to fully tailor a build to fit your desired experience.

A spooky and funny game still in its infancy that you can greatly enjoy with friends - just make sure to follow company procedure.

Incredibly immersive exploration game. One of the best I've ever played. It doesn't overstay its welcome and it offers you a comprehensive adventuring experience set in space with all of its awe and terrors. I would recommend avoiding all and any spoilers since even the most minor ones can ruin your experience with the game.
