An example of a sequel ruined by a load of misguided design choices. Bloated with too many uninspired bosses and enemies, and artificial difficulty in the form of multiple enemy encounters.

It's still Souls, but you should only play this if you really love the series, have played the others, and are desperate for more.

The game that defined a genre. A flawed masterpiece, a classic, and a must-play as far as I'm concerned.

Prepare to die.

A fresh take on the soulslike formula, with a focus on third person shooter mechanics and co-op.

Played solo, but definitely was intended to be played with friends, and is balanced around that fact. Not too much of an issue to play solo, but be prepared for some frustrating encounters.
