For long time fans, this was a great story for a mix of new adventures and homage to old ones.

For someone new to the series, I can see this being a fun romp until hitting the ending and being mildly disappointed, but if you've played the previous titles, I think you'd find it very satisfying and not shocking at all.

I really hope there's more games in the future, I love the Monkey Island games dearly, but I think this is great ending to the series if that's just how things work out.

If you're in the mood for a nice, light-hearted romance story and enjoy old point-and-click adventure games, then this is for you! Follow six characters and how each of their stories intertwine with each other's love lives.

I'm a sucker for pixel art, so I really appreciate the use of 2.5D environment with the 2D characters. It was really well done, it felt 2D the majority of the time, but the lighting and shadows added an extra richness, especially in areas like the park.

Extremely cute game that can be easily finished in a few hours. It does have a bug where your character gets stuck, but it's an easy fix.

I'd love a sequel or DLC to unlock a new area to just glide around...

A nice homage to older gaming while telling increasingly eerie stories with each chapter. This is great for someone who loves a good thriller and puzzle-solving.

This isn't an action-oriented game, so if you don't enjoy slow-pacing, I wouldn't suggest this game to you.

A very relaxing, slow-paced game with a storybook feel. This is a perfect game for someone a little younger that can read well or someone older who just wants a cozy adventure game to play while sipping on tea.

It has an interesting premise, but the game takes a bit to figure out on how to progress properly. Once you figure it out, it's a pretty fast game and easy to finish.

I love the art and has great voice acting, but the game's story is just a bit short for the mystery and the ending is a little lackluster, but the only way for a "happy" ending. Wait for a sale.

Also, the game has a gratuitous amount of panty shots if you're worried about maturity of the game, that's about it (and pink Danganronpa blood). Not a big deal.

Admittedly, I sped through this game. This is a game you should play a few levels, quit, and come back the next day (though this game does have a daily puzzle, which helps if you want more!)

If you actually take your time, this is a very relaxing game; but if you speed through it in a day's time, it can kind of stress you out, especially in the 4th chapter (but that's probably a "me" issue).

The only real complaint I have for the game is that I had a handful of times when I had the puzzle solved, but the game didn't acknowledge it, so I had to look up the solution, see I was correct and move things around until the game finally recognized it.

Love fishing in video games? Love Animal Crossing? This is for you!

I really enjoyed this game. I was really on the fence based on the reviews on Steam, due to glitches and mechanics of the game, which is fine if they were old reviews, but these were recent. I didn't experience anything that people were complaining about. The worst glitch I saw was a flying raccoon, which I thought was a bonus...

I definitely recommend a controller, it's difficult to use a keyboard with this game, especially for the cooking mini-game, but I thought the controls/handling was just fine beyond that.

Overall, I think this was a great game, I could easily see myself replaying this game in a year or two, it's very relaxing like a Story of Seasons/Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing game.

The overall story wasn't bad, I didn't watch the trailers, so I wasn't aware of the extent of a narrative game it was going to be. The story is told in a storybook-like format with full voice over. I wish it had a bit more illustrations, a little less repetitive imagery, but generally a charming idea.

Taking apart and fixing items is extremely addictive, I wish there was more things to fix! They could easily make a prequel or sequel to this game. Finished the game in about 2 hours, I want more!

This isn't terrible game, just not something I'm looking for... honestly this feels like an early access game, but apparently it's been considered a full release for almost a year now.

It just feels lacking. If it had more life in it (like critters running around, villagers walking around outside the village), I might have stuck with it a bit longer, admittedly I only played for a couple of hours.

If you have no desire to get to know the villagers and just want to play shopkeeper to customize your home, then this is perfect for you. I might come back to this in the future.

It's very obvious that the storyline is highly-inspired by Pride and Prejudice with its own twists. The story was fine, but felt very short and simple compared to other SQRT3 games.

For Telltale's attempt on a Monkey Island game, it wasn't a bad time. It had decent comedic events and the adventure itself was fun, it even had a few interesting puzzles, but there was a few... hiccups, especially with the bugs in the later chapters that slow you down (thank goodness for kind users on forums for solving these issues).

Pros:
You have to go in knowing this is a Telltale game, if you're used to their humor, it's a good time, they tried their best mix their kind of humor and what you'd normally expect from the LucasArts titles.

There's a ton of homages to the previous titles and cameos from the usual suspects, my personal favorite being Murray.

They did make some pretty clever puzzles that match Monkey Island really well for original puzzles, while borrowing some previous ones for past fans who would get the references.

Cons:
The dialogue tree was weak for jokes compared to previous titles and you couldn't speed through them if you accidentally clicked the wrong thing (or when you have leave and return to the court house over and over, normally that would all just skip forward once you had done the motions once or twice).

Elaine didn't feel as clever as usual, the ending kind of forced her to seem like she just knew everything she shouldn't, simply because she needs to think 20 steps ahead because she's married to Guybrush. She forces Guybrush to carry her wedding ring for the majority of the game for no real reason other than he lost his, he doesn't even wear it. You know it's for a puzzle, but it just felt forced. I feel like if her dialogue was adjusted a bit when giving him her ring and at the ending of the game, it would have been more fitting.

Unfortunately, Elaine was also overshadowed by Morgan LeFlay, Guybrush's fan/Elaine's love rival, who is another very capable, clever female in the pirating world, but has a bit more "strike first and ask questions later" personality which forces Guybrush to be the "wise elder", which is normally Elaine's role.

Telltale worked a little too hard on the Guybrush/Morgan chemistry, even with Guybrush always staying true to Elaine, to the point that you honestly feel bad for Morgan once she gets to know Guybrush better.

Then the ending itself just sharply cuts to the credits with a post-credit event teasing a likely sequel at the time (but of course, that didn't come into fruition).

Adorable character designs and smooth animation for having a squiggle vision-eqse style to it.

Reminded me of the Professor Layton series in ways, but this is much more simple in comparison. The minigames are generally super easy (some are bad jokes, in a good way) while there is a handful that are fairly difficult and require skill and luck.

Interesting puzzle game that tells its story with the items you're unpacking and the items in each room.

Very quick and easy game, I don't think it's worth $20 though, since it can be completed in 2 to 3 hours. Definitely wait for a sale.

There's actually a very deep story to be told in this game. Love, Family, Betrayal, Abandonment, Revenge.

Most people will only play one route of this game and call it a day, assuming it's a simple parody dating sim (I thought that for many years), but if you take the time to go through all the routes, you will unlock the -real- game.
