[This log will be updated bunch of times as I’m playing this game and not sure when I’ll stop. Last update: May 5th, 2024]
Good: MyLeague Eras are amazing. Being able to play the league seasons with 2000s, 1990s, 1980s roster etc is awesome, at least for me. Some players have amazingly realistic animations and emotions.
Bad: every single time you run the game, it gives you a pop-up for some “new player cards they’ve added”. Sometimes it gives you a second pop-up right after you close the first one. One time, second pop-up appeared right at the moment when I pressed the button to choose “MyLeague” and it forwarded me to the PlayStation Store to buy the in-game currency.

You know, it’s a good story. I cried a little. Levels felt unique from the base game. But nothing that special or outstanding tbh.

This felt different than Resident Evil Biohazard and not in a good way. It’s still good-looking and fun game to play.
The bosses were cool but that’s really it.

This is one of the best stories I’ve ever played, I had so many jaw drops during the play through, I lost the count. Spent 40+ hrs in this game and don’t regret it even a bit.

The reason why I can’t give it 5 stars is because the fighting mechanics were not really for me and some mini games were too clunky.

But otherwise, it’s great game. If you don’t like the gameplay, I highly recommend watching the story on YouTube at least.

For PS5 exclusive, this game is very poorly optimized. Some frame drops were very nasty. I found the plot confusing with the way how it rapidly changes main character’s motives. Music is good but so unfitting, you wouldn’t want to listen to loungy nu-jazz during some emotional scene, right?
One level felt like I’m playing Slenderman. It’s good that it’s free and that’s about it. Don’t have your expectations high because it’s modern-day Silent Hill, especially after the fact Ascension exists.

2016

I needed some time to get used to the flow of the game but I guess it’s close to the original Doom’s mechanics. Glory kills are awesome and addicting. Mick Gordon did an awesome job with the music.
Over the whole playthrough, I encountered one game-breaking bug which didn’t let me progress further into the level because some enemy was stuck outside of the map.

Fun roguelike mode, very enjoyable. Surprised that it was given for free when it could easily be sold at $20 a piece.
Story gives a glimpse of what happens after Ragnarok as well as recap of Kratos’ story from Greece.

Very fun game. The campaign felt a bit too short but kudos to the developers for making the “infinite overtime” mode.
The game requires you to play in a “room scale” mode which was a bit challenging for me as my living room is not that spacious to comfortably play it but that’s just on me.

This game was a trip. Sam Lake is a very creative guy. The game perfectly combines a very dark and mysterious story with occasional goofiness.
One thing I didn’t like is that some dialogues were crunchier then others like they had a retro filter applied to them for some reason. That was followed up by a clear voice line after. I also encountered some visual bugs and occasional T-posing and teleporting models but that wasn’t really pissing me off.
Oh, I also want to point out the great music in this game. The Herald of Darkness alone is stuck in my head for a while now.

Very good puzzle game but short, it took me about an hour to complete it and additional 20-25 minutes to get the platinum by going through the collectibles I missed.
Visually, the game is amazing, it felt like I was in that world, very emerging.
Story was good. Puzzles weren’t really hard to solve.

Good: some jokes land; music (you have IDLES, A Tribe Called Quest, Cage The Elephant, La Luz, Ty Segall, etc.).
Bad: some jokes don’t land at all; clunky gameplay; the plot was too rushed, when I got to the final mission, I was like “wait, that’s the end already?”; bad guys are bad because they’re bad; too many bugs, some of them require restarting the game. The world felt empty and uninteresting.

Overall: for indie game, it’s a good one. But this is supposed to be a “serious AAA project”. It’s not worth the full price, $20-$30 is the most reasonable price for it. However, an indie game will bring you a lot more fun, than this one. If you got it for free or it’s included in your subscription, feel free to play it and see for yourself, but create the goofiest possible character, this will, at least, make this game playable.

The first person view is very interesting choice though I’d really prefer this game in third person as it was very easy to get disoriented and miss the attack.
It also suffers from the same issue like the base game and previous DLC - underwhelming/disappointing final boss battle. On the other hand, this mode was pretty fun.

MINOR SPOILER BELOW:

I also wish I could finally kick that spider lady’s ass in it.

Oh, this edition is very definitive. They improved the resolution for the game, textures, and added lots and lots of bugs.
My advise: play the original version.

After beating previous DLC and getting used to stealth approach, this DLC is great. I very liked the flow of it. One thing that I didn’t like is the final boss battle: it’s too underwhelming, just like main game’s final boss.

I hated it at first since it’s basically a stealth mode without the opportunity to kill any enemies (not really, but for the most of the time). It felt like I’m playing the Last of Us but without any weapons because it’s very easy to die.
Story-wise I found it even better than the main game.
