Practically the perfect game for the life I was living back then. As a lonely kid, who didn't like going out and socializing, this game helped me break out of my shell and start interacting with plenty of wonderful people in my life. If we take it separately from how it impacted my life personally, it's still a fantastic game. Incredible music, unparalleled visuals, and some of the most lovable characters in the entire medium. It's impossible to go wrong with Persona 5 Royal

There's a reason this is one of the most popular games of all time, and there's also a reason so many people are so salty about it after being addicted to it for years at a time. At the end of the day, it's one of the most polished and fun PvP video games ever created and it has only gotten better with time.

I love early oddball Mario games where these characters are not firmly established entities yet so Nintendo's just doing whatever. Nothing in this puzzle game became concrete Wario lore at all and I kinda dig it? His main enemy is Toad. He conquered a forest using black magic. He has a necromancer, a mermaid, and a dragon as evil minions. At one point he says "I have exceptional strength, power, wit, and charisma!" after using a bike pump to inflate himself. Birdo is there.
