Slightly better than BOTW in terms of gameplay, though the companions were annoying and got in the way. The new weapon and hand ability systems were a major upgrade from the previous game.
The map felt too similar to BOTW at times and expecting players to recollect the Korok seeds and shrines again is annoying and feels like padding. It just feels like the game is against having fun in some of these design decisions. Also, the way the story is presented through the tears was a little silly especially since the plot as a whole wasn't too exciting.

Very little replayability, short campaign and paid DLC made me feel like I didn't get much out of this game for the 30 dollars I paid on launch day. The pixel art is top tier and combat feels decent, though the game was too short with too little variety in levels and character movesets.

Slow burn, with 12 hours of filler and 4 hours of actual plot. Characters are fun and likeable, and the soundtrack is amazing. Most of the headspace sections as they were mostly just padding for time and had little effect on the overall plot of the game. The plot was very memorable and had one of the most impactful endings I've experienced in the medium. The horror aspect, mostly during the real world sections is also really well executed.
