Was fun and I enjoyed the music, I was expecting more I guess after hearing so much good about it - maybe just not my jam.

Finally got the platinum on this one… This game is amazing. As a development from MGS1 it’s fantastic and deepens the mechanics in a way that keeps its arcadey stealth feel. The story was always well ahead of its time and worth experiencing for the alone. It carry’s the flaws on most of MGS, being very cinematic heavy and constantly cutting to cutscenes, but the depth of gameplay and story are both so solid. One of my favourite games of all time, even if getting all the dog tags and doing the VR missions made me question that. Can’t wait to do it again with the master collection!

Honestly, this game gets a bad rep. It is silly yes and not in the excusable typical metal gear kind of way - but I can’t help but laugh with. Definitely shouldn’t be anyone’s first way to play MGS1, but it’s a hell of a remix!

Honestly, this game is almost as good as R&C3 - The story oozes the PS2 game charm, gameplay and guns are top tier - and to be honest, I never thought the PS2 games excelled at platforming! So seeing a more focused version of their formula was really refreshing! The PS3 version isn't ideal but the only issues I had were some visual bugs which I can look past

Nice to replay, makes 4 stars mostly on writing and tone - gameplays not the best on this one though. Vita version is super broken though crashing during saving and putting you like 6 levels back. Will play again

An okay Metal Gear Game that whilst impressive for the PSP, finds itself lacking mechanically in a number of ways. Despite this, the game has a punchy second half of the story and Calling to the Night is one of the best MGS themes. Enjoyable experience but a one-and-done.
