Out of the Mario Party games I've played, this one is definitely the best. Sure, the minigames aren't quite as high quality as something like Superstars, but they're still solid, and the motion controls work fine in all of them (except for Flip the Chimp, dear god). While minigames are an important aspect to these games, the key gameplay comes from the boards, and that's where this game outperforms all the others. The diversity in layout, theme, and function of each boards is phenomenal. Each board really is it's own experience, and there's no bad apple among them. The uniqueness of each map keeps you engaged even while others are taking their turns, at least more so than the other Mario Partys I've played. Truly peak Mario Party
