Oscar pressured me into playing this and I can conclude that this is probably my favorite piece of media about revenge and forgiveness

I waited for this game for about 6 years, I watched every trailer and every YouTube video imaginable about the game, whether they were directly from ND or fan theories. From the trailers I had a feeling this game would somehow trump the masterpiece that is the first game, and I held this game to the highest expectation imaginable. This was the sequel to the game that meant everything to me, and I was expecting it to be better. It was not only better, it somehow exceeded everything I expected from it and did more. Having devoted my life to becoming a game developer, this game had me in tears at the end. Not only for what was an emotional rollercoaster of a story, but for what was pure joy in realizing I found my purpose in life. It is understated how bad my mental state was in 2020, yet in probably one of the darkest years of my life, one 40 hour experience over a weekend would make my entire 19 years of existence, and all the years beyond it worth it. The monotony and the meaninglessness of life is gone. I will die a happy person having not only found what I was meant to be, but used every bit of energy I have to learn and craft a similar experience.

it's like if pokemon go and pokemon yellow were forced together in a vacuum and morphed into this. its fun, but it just aint the same.
An actually really good game
There's something so comfy and pleasing about hunting down coins/flowers in this crafted world.
