The mechanics were neat but very wonky, and the story was not as engaging as the previous games, but a step up from assassins creed three. Edward Kenway was the highlight of the game truly.

This game was so much fun and a great starter to the games that come after. I genuinely miss the modern day segments that this game and others in the Desmond centric games had, and the extra layer of story telling it does so well.

This game feels like home to me and I really appreciate the improvements from the base game ❤️
