It has my favourite story in all of videogames, graphically it hasn't aged well, same can be said about the combat.
The osts are all bangers, the nier series have the best soundtracks in all of videogames.

The story and the characters were superb but the game itself was a chore to play

-Has the best story and themes but some really weak bosses narratively
-Tartarus was a pain in the ass for a lot of people but I really liked it
-The ost was a hit or miss for me (the battle theme is complete doodoo as well)
-Characters were pretty weak as well, Junpei and Mitsuru were the only were I really cared about.
-Social links were pretty good, Fuuka and the fat dude's links were pretty boring but rest of them were pretty enjoyable
-The ending is probably the best in the series

First 10 hours were okay but after the second dungeon i started loving it up until the last dungeon...
It was not bad but it felt really weak compared to the other palaces and the last boss was pretty lame, the ending itself was really good though, i almost cried watching the end credits
