Jeez everything wants to kill Silver Surfer. And I thought the whole town trying to kill Dr. Jekyll was like bullet hell.
Everything OHKOs you and enemies are fast with wacky patterns, still... the game is great and it has a great reward system: survive and you get to listen to the amazing soundtrack, which is one of the best on the NES.

I couldn't finish a single stage lmao
You definitely need a turbo button to have a chance.

Yep, I actually played this.
I finished the first one and decided that I needed to suffer more...Nah, what actually happened is that, after looking up walkthroughs and story explanations for the first game, youtube recommended me a platinum guide, and I saw the time and thought to myself... why not? It's less than an hour.

I expected nothing, absolute rock bottom... or maybe less. And, well it wasn't amazing and the weird puzzle logic is still there but... it wasn't THAT bad. It's clearly an improvement over the first game; it looks better and it controls better. You can interact with less objects but maybe that is for the better. Honestly that restraint makes for a better game: the game shows you what interacts with what, it also doesn't ask you to make crazy jumps or land in tiny objects, hell there's even a tutorial.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a good game. It still has some of the same problems, like the way it tells it's cryptic story (which this time ends on a cliffhanger yay), the puzzles are either boring or obtuse making you try everything until something somehow works (I just used the guide), and the enemy AI is somehow worse? It's extremely easy to avoid getting caught and it's also common that the AI gets stuck.
I was just surprised that it wasn't absolutely terrible. Why did that terrible first game get a sequel? Why are the creators of this thing trying to make it into a franchise? I get that "horror for kids" is somehow popular but there's no way Hello Neighbor was successful enough to get a sequel (and a prequel looks like?), let alone tease a goddamned third installment on it's inconclusive ending. I just don't get it.

It's alright I guess. It's poorly optimized (on mobile) and I had to play it muted, but I had fun trying to do the objectives, though it's up to luck most of the time.

I don't know how to feel about trying to archive homeostasis between my stats by making choices I don't agree with. Most of the time you are just trying to survive and hoping the game throws you a bone to progress. When I became emperor I immediately died because my umm... sword stat? was too high.

The best part of the game, for me, was the combat. It was what kept me engaged, even though I only lost once. It has a "deck building" aspect to it; you have 9 slots available and you can get units by making allies through your choices. There's even a multiplayer mode for it, too bad I couldn't find an opponent.

Absolute classic
Nothing is better than getting yelled at by insane people after losing a 1v1 at 1am. That shitty mic quality makes it funny everytime

The fact that this game is still alive after all these years is proof of it's excellence. Right now, as I'm writing this I've checked and there's 4 full servers in my country. The player base is dedicated and unhinged.

It's sequels are very popular, with high player counts and use this a base. CS1.6 is like the raw, less refined version of those games but the foundation is so good that I always have a good time going back. Sure it's not "good" but it's fun.

The funniest part is that I absolutely suck at this game lmao

I've played this game so much. I played every single version of it: the vanilla arcade, this update, the psp version, the xbox360 version, and a few days ago I found a ps3 copy and decided to start playing it again to try to get the platinum trophy.

This was the Tekken game in which I actually learned how to play and a ton of my playtime was probably in training and ghost battle practicing with every character.

It's hard for me to be objective with this game. I played a lot of versus (and team battle! me and my friends favorite mode) with my friends, online and even at my local arcade (that's still alive to this day).

I don't think this Tekken is the best one or a near perfect game. If I was being objective I would give it 4 stars.

The bad:
-There's not much to do in the game apart from the scenario campaign and versus mode.
-The story is the worst in the series and the campaign is repetitive (I still like it though and it adds a lot of play time and replayability).
-There were big changes in the gameplay, courtesy of the bound system, that revamped the juggle combos of previous entries... I was not a big fan of this change back then and nowadays I'm glad that it got tweaked into the much better screw in Tekken 7.
-It takes a while to get into matches, load times are long-ish and even the main menu takes time to fully load. Still... it's faster than Tekken 7 lol, I was surprised when I replayed this game, expecting waaay longer load times than I got.
-The online sucks, but I guess that's typical for a fighting game of that era
-You can only increase your rank past 1st dan online, making ghost battle way less fun than Tekken 5.
-Azazel is the worst final boss of the series.
-Evil Jin was a mistake.

The good:
-Huge character roster with great variety
-The new character additions are mostly great... except for maybe Lars...
-Great graphics, it looks great in motion and it's a big step up from it's predecessor.
-Even if I don't like the combo system, the gameplay is great as always... it's Tekken
-Great character customization, that is limited compared to tag2 or 7, but you can create way better looking combinations.
-You can voice chat during an online match, which works as well as you would assume but it's hilarious.
-Scenario campaign is not that bad. It's an evolution of the Tekken Force concept. Sure the story is awful but I had fun completing the mode. It would have been perfect if it included a couch co-op option.
-I like the secrets of this game, like the "hidden" stage, the hidden customization items, the roulette that unlocks even more hidden customization items (I only ever got the black rage effect) and the golden final boss that gives you 2 million gold. In my second ps3 arcade run I got it to appear and saw it in game for the first time after playing the game for thousands of hours in other platforms.
-It has the team battle mode! (Why did they cut it in 7...).
-The ost is amazing as always, the highlights being electric fountain and fallen colony.
-It includes the sheep stage.

Overall, I think there are lot's of reasons to come back to this game. It's a classic that is still fun to replay either solo (replaying the campaign or beating up cpus) or with friends (preferably offline).

It's frogger, but with ads and microtransactions!

Is this the first endless jumping game? Or just the first on modern mobile devices?
This is like the ancestor of the modern endless runner clones and endless platformers.
I think it's alright. I played when I was younger. It's a classic like pong or snake...

This was NOT a game. It was more like miiverse, a social media app. You created a mii and made funny posts. It was cute.

The last wwe game I played was 2k14. After what I saw with 15 I have been observing at a distance.
I thought this year's game looked good, then I saw Jey Uso's entrance and... things haven't really changed huh. Such is the curse of yearly releases. I can't believe that the return of special referee matches is a "big feature".

Very true to life
The game is boring and tedious, then you get fired out of nowhere for no reason.

Fun time waster text-based game. I come back to this game from time to time.
I had a lot of fun playing it, it's kind of addicting, trying to archive certain kind of goals and living differently every playthrough.

The big problem with this game is the monetization... oh wow shocker it's a mobile game. The ads are annoying and so much of the game is gated behind a paywall. Just use a modified apk and you'll be fine.

Oh and one more thing to add: the android version is always behind the ios version in terms of updates and features

"uwu"
That was my review of this game on google play back then

I played this way too much

I can't believe this is on this site
Terrible meme game released at the height of Pokemon GO's popularity.

Solo recuerdo descargarlo para bromear con mis amigos que habia capturado aliens 100% reales no fake. Buenos tiempos.

It's alright.
I went back just to play as Darth Vader, since I had only played the xbox360 version and I didn't have the dlc.

I like how the story progressed and it features some of the best designs of the franchise in Siegfried and Nightmare. It also has the most shameless designs lmao just look at Ivy. Every girl (except for Amy and Talim?) is sexualised.

If you are a casual you won't get much from this game as it doesn't have much content aside from story (which is just an arcade ladder with a cgi ending for each character) and the tower (which consists of fighting the cpu, just with some challenges and modifiers). This is nothing compared to the previous entries in the franchise.

So you're telling me that Konami man invited Grey Fox but not Solid Snake???
