Psychonauts really deserves more attention then it gets as it has a very creative world and premise that works far too well in gaming to ignore. When you sprinkle it with humor, witty dialogue, and likeable characters it's really hard to be upset at it's mediocre combat and it's unpleasant last world. This is a great game with so much to offer, and even more to improve on if it ever got a sequel.

I recommend playing it for the dance minigame.

50% of time, couldn't even activate buttons on main menu.
Other 50%, laughing at my character dying and just falling over.

[Intro]
Mmm, yeah
Mmm, yeah
(So-so-so-so-solo)

[Chorus]
I'm feelin' like a star, you can't stop my shine
I'm lovin' Cloud City, my head's in the sky
I'm Solo, I’m Han Solo
I'm Han Solo, I'm Han Solo, Solo

[Verse 1]
Yeah, I'm feelin' good tonight
Finally feelin' free and it feels so right, oh
Time to do the things I like
Gonna see a princess, everything's all right, oh
No Jabba to answer to
Ain't a fixture in the palace zoo, no
And since the carbonite's off me
I'm livin' life now that I'm free, yeah

(The star wars dancing thing is fucking hilarious and weirdly good, everything else about this is godawful)

NGL, a massive reason this is a 6 is owed to how big a pain in the ass the penultimate 3 missions (The Library, Two Betrayals and Keyes) were to complete. Far too much of all 3 were just repeated sections, as well as reused in the case of the latter 2, with just hoards of the Flood, which are easily the most annoying enemy in the game.

My one big negative out of the way, this games still pretty fun. I do find the gameplay a bit less varied than Reach, but I’ll excuse it since it was the first of the series. The stories also a lot more engaging then I expected, with the Flood adding a great horror factor despite how annoying they are in gameplay sections. I also enjoyed a lot of the little interactions between Master Chief and Cortana, it helped give Chief a bit of character despite mostly being a static protagonist for most of the proceedings.

Combat Evolved actually reminds me of Mario 64 in a lot of ways, that was another game changer that while still fun could be quite cumbersome to play at times, though I’d happily do 100 coins on Tick Tock Clock over The Library ANY day of the week. Still though this was a good time for the most part, and I’m excited to continue through the main line series in the coming months. 6/10

Lord of the Rings: The Twin Towers

The best game in the Mass Effect Trilogy and one of the best Action-RPGs of all time. With its fantastic and memorable story and loveable supporting cast Mass Effect 2 tread bold new, ground that helped make the franchise one of gaming greats. The final mission is one of my favorite gaming moments ever, and I truly felt satisfied after I completed it. Your choices truly do matter here, and the galaxy itself changes based upon Shepherd's actions.

While the original set up some really good universe building, Mass Effect 2 sets up even better character building and with a larger cast of characters that makes it fairly impressive. With the majority of the game basically being one big recruitment arc for [one last job] it never feels dull or drags out. Going from planet to planet to station and solving problems really helps each character get more time with Shepard and establish some really good bonding moments till the big moment in the end of the game. Effectively Mass Effect 2 builds itself up to a big payoff, and succeeds by giving players enough agency and time to really feel the impact of the recruitment process and the choices you make in the end. Mass Effect 2 is pretty much the best in the series, and is great from start to finish.

I heard a lot about this game from a friend who was playing it at the the time so I had high expectations but this game blew me away. For one it has an amazing story that immerses you very well. I also loved the voice acting it was top notch bro it enchanted the cutscenes. It also does has big twists in the story that just made me combust. The side stories in the game are really good and made me go ha ha at times because some of them are so crazy, and yet it tells a serious story and just make me bruh SO HARD I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. For how cheap this game is it a steal 100% worth you time. The combat as well is fun and I like all the different combat styles and there different personalities. Plus the music is amazing, and the karaoke is fun af. The only problem I have is one of the businesses that you can do in the game(kiryu's) and how much it bored me to death. Other than that it 100% swag PLAY PLAY PLAY THIS GAME trust me you won't forget it.
Story 10/10
characters 10/10
gameplay 10/10
side content 9.5/10 (Kiryu business is bad)
