Most Disappointing Games I PLAYED in 2023
Living list that will be maxed out at 5 by the end of the year. This list consists of games I played this year, and that doesn't mean they came out the same year. Let's all be honest if I only ranked games that released in 2023 both Gollum and Redfall would have guaranteed spots on this list. Just because they disappointed me does not mean they are bad but you can also just consider this my worst of the year list.

This is 100% the worst thing I played in 2023.
Poor level design, garbage combat and a bad ending they decided to charge separately as DLC leave me more angry than disappointed.
As the year progresses and I add more titles to it I would be shocked if this game did not make the top 5. I didn't hate it. There are a lot of interesting things to say about it but it's 2nd grade level narrative, boring open world design and garbage resource management leave me with a sour taste in my mouth.
It might seem weird that I had high expectations for this title but I think the premise of it is stellar. A vampire doctor battling his humanity is just the type of cheese I love in my video games. But this game was filled with great ideas that were poorly implemented . I don't hate this title but I dislike almost everything about it.
This game has a lot in common with the Callisto Protocol believe it or not.
