A game that I've replayed at least a dozen times, spending hundreds of hours on it! Rarely have I replayed a game so much, probably because back then I didn't have as many games, but this game had fantastic gameplay and a captivating story, especially for my 14-year-old self. It had great replayability with the varied New Game Plus system.
The characters were endearing, there were emotions, no one was useless; the only regret is that the European version was deprived of the Japanese content, but well, that was the era. A must-have from the Gamecube era

One of those games that leave you feeling empty once finished, making you beg for more, always more, while knowing that more would be harmful—meaning that everything is so finely balanced that a little more would cause an accidental overdose.
The best Final Fantasy for me, undoubtedly biased by the fact that it was the first one I played as a child. The characters, except for Tarask, are all interesting, evolve throughout the story, and are endearing.
