A massive improvement over its predecessor but still lacking gameplay that feels good and better single player content. Also, while this is mostly a personal issue, I do not like how heavily this game revolves around power character gameplay. You almost never play as the grunts and when you do you just get shit on by all the Jedi, Sith, and elite units running around everywhere all the time.

Great game that has finally fallen victim to age. Having not played this until a couple of years ago, there are no nostalgia goggles to help me enjoy it more unfortunately.

Counter Strike but easier. Only fun because everyone sucks and you get to shit on them. There are some nice design choices and the gameplay feels solid enough but this game ultimately just feels corny for reasons I can't put my finger on.

This game is nice primarily because we get to see so many pokemon characters come alive for us to interact with. Fun to have all your favorite pokemon characters in your roster, and the gacha is not as greedy as most. Regardless, the gameplay is horribly boring and the choice to use 3D graphics means visual limitations leave a lot to be desired. If this was not a shitty mobile gacha game it would probably have been really cool.

I don't know why this game exists

Probably the most overrated Call of Duty. Multiplayer had a myriad of design and balance issues and the campaign was Call of Duty's first step into its long streak of ridiculous and over the top one-man-army scenarios.

An empty shell of a game with terrible gameplay. It's a very shiny and pretty looking shell, but a shell nonetheless.

Even back when I was a 9 year old that had just got this game for Christmas, I still thought this game sucked ass

2021

The Mihoyo game that doesn't suck. Generally superior to Genshin (especially in regards to gameplay), but suffers from age, its start as a mobile exclusive, and a certain degree of content bloat. Fans of this game often rave about the story, and while it has very strong moments, these moments are far and few between amidst a mass of remarkably boring campaign missions and endless amounts of exposition during cutscenes. These things improve to a certain degree in later chapters, but never enough to make it truly worth it. Regardless, as a gacha game Honkai is a fun time for its gameplay, valkyries, and events. It's less greedy than Genshin, although not as much as I would like.

That said, thanks to a newly amassed budget from its inferior sister game, a sequel to Honkai has an immense amount of potential.

A severely flawed Fire Emblem game that still manages to win over many (including myself) with its charm and character. I don't care that it sucks, I had a great time anyway.

A video game in its purest form, a truly exceptional example of the medium. Amazing experience.

This game was a shitshow at launch, but after years of patches and content updates Battlefield 4 became one of the best entries in the series.

Classic, timeless, perfect. It is rare that such beautiful simplicity works so well in a game.

As time goes on, more updates to the game reduce this simplicity, but in my opinion these updates have been worth it as most of them have made really cool improvements. Minecraft is the best it has ever been and it keeps getting better. Despite the fact that the Bedrock vs Java inconsistencies are still a growing problem, I am mostly happy with how the game has been handled since its acquisition by Microsoft.
