Elden Ring is a really beautiful game filled with great lore and interesting characters. The visuals and design of each area is intriguing and engaging. The combat and bosses in this game are some of the best from Fromsoft. I know some found the Elden Beast final boss underwhelming, but personally the visual and story ideas that make up the boss completely overshadow the fact that i'm even fighting him, aswell as radagon before him.

One thing that this game does really well is giving so many options to the player in terms of builds, weapons, armor, etc. You can basically beat the game however you want, and it's still fun.

Amazing story and narrative built off the player's decisions. Very immersive in that sense. The character's are all full of real soul and emotion which makes them so great. Although locked to a set map in each act, the world still feels expansive, perhaps because of the overarching lore of the land.

The combat is the controversial part of the game, which is understandably not for everyone. I really enjoyed the strategy put behind the combat. I also play D&D irl, so this is just the kind of thing I enjoy.

One of the greatest RPG's of all time. This is where the persona series peaks. It might not be my favorite but it's clearly great. Amazing social links/lovable characters and the combat is the most polished in the series.

Also (and this goes for every persona game), the soundtrack is fucking amazing. Everything about this games aesthetic made it just that much of a better experience.

The third semester adds a lot for some of the characters that I think pushes this game as better than the original persona 5
