The kind of story and setting that I've only seen from Project Moon, in the form of a free to play gacha game. When you've played a while, the gacha aspect is barely there, since you have so many resources you can just get every character and EGO equip. The art direction of this game is something fairly unique, and looks great all the time. Has some performance issues on mobile devices, but past that hard to think of much bad. Good game with a great story, what can I say.
Amazing game with a monotonous grind in endgame (if you care about more than 1-2 characters). Really looking forward to more content cause the actual gameplay that isn't mindlessly grinding easy fights for materials you need is amazing.
A remake of a game that is one of my favorite games of all time. While I would say this is the best way to experience this game, there are also some changes that I dislike.
Almost everything about the combat is a nice and welcome change. Theurgy is really fun to use, and didn't feel too powerful until the very late game where I was one shotting nearly everything on Merciless. Tartarus went from a poor dungeon to a decent dungeon, with more variation between the areas and some extra things to do, but all in all nothing crazy.
While the game looks amazing, I wish the colors and shading used was a bit darker to fit with the mood of the game. The original was more muted and I felt that made the harder hitting moments of the game hit that much harder.
Those are my only real complaints about the game. Overall, this game and especially it's story and cast still sits in my top of all time. Everything in this game is great.
