I’ve gotta disclose that I received a copy of this game for free, but I’d rate it the same whether I paid for it or not. It’s a cool and fun way to essentially try to replicate Wii Sports Resort in VR. The constant updates are nice, and many of the sports control exactly like how I expected them to. However some of them feel fairly bland, especially the archery and golf. I hope the developers take a note from Wii Sports Resort and include alternate game modes or other situations. Shooting a bow at an Olympic-style range the exact same distance every single time isn’t fun.

It’s a good game, but I’m not sure it’s as good as a lot of people let on. The gameplay is phenomenal and the lore/story is something anyone can get lost in, but the first 3 to 4 hours are a painful slog. By the time you finally get all the cool mechanics that make the game truly fun, it’s almost over.

I've played through a few different beta releases, and I can't wait till the full release. This is ridiculously fun and creative. The mechanics feel really good, the dungeon design works phenomenally well. The devs started with the gameplay before building out the rest of the game, and it's working so far. As they add more levels, enemies, bosses, and items, I'm sure they'll be perfect.

I'm not too keen on Battle Royales, but when they're in VR it's a different experience. They're constantly updating and listening to the community, and the gun mechanics are better than a lot of VR games too, while still being simple enough to not be offputting to new users. VR needs games that don't intimidate people unfamiliar with VR, and this is a solid example of one that doesn't.
