Unfortunately, I feel like the remaster lost some of the initial charm and mystery of the original.

That's not to say it's a bad remaster or a bad game, but there's a specific air about the PS2 version that makes the Forgotten Lands feel so much more... forgotten.

The remake is nice for those wanting updated graphics or unable to get a hold of an OG copy, but I count myself lucky to have been able to play the original game in its original state.
