The Bakumatsu era (1853 - 1868) are the final years of the Edo period during which Japan ended its isolationist foreign policy, known as Sakoku, and transitioned from a feudal shogunate to the Meiji government.

Samurai Champloo for PS2!

Yeah thats a weird one… its set around 60 years after the sengoku period ended so like 1675 but has American baseball players and such since its very alternate history and makes a lot of stuff up

Total War 2 Fall of the Samurai starts in 1864 and ends after the Meiji restoration begins so it could be on both lists

The Twilight of Edo chapter in Live A Live.

Huh, wouldn't the list be more embracing if you add the whole Edo period?
The Bakumatsu didn't just 15 years... That's just the fall of Tokugawa and pre-Meiji restoration. There's way more events and games that are included in the whole 265 years of history of Tokugawa Bakumatsu

Adding the whole edo period would be a huge undertaking because it’s an extremely popular setting
Omg you're alive, welcome back
