Haven is an extremely sweet game. The intimacy between the two main characters is really something special. The world design however gets very stale quicker than I would like to admit, and I honestly wish the combat wasn't even in it. It has a lot of potential and I'm enjoying my time with it but I doubt I'd be bringing it up in conversation

So this game just hit Gamepass with EA access, for a free to play game, its fantastic. Super grindey, awful story, stupid fucking dialogue, but fun gameplay. but the FACT that its ALWAYS ONLINE meaning i cant play it SOLO without LAGGING because i have SHIT AUSTRALIAN INTERNET is fucking INFURIATING.

Sea of Solitude feels so much like other "personal experience" games like That Dragon Cancer, or What Remains of Edith Finch, or Ryme, except its every part as beautiful, but 15x more boring. It doesn't have the emotional engagement of Ryme, the constantly changing mechanics of Edith Finch, and honestly its just not as impactful as cancer. Underwhelming.
