What Matpat did to this game needs to be studied.

Fun for like the first 30 minutes and the songs are kind of catchy, but this game got way too big in the public space for what it is

One of my favourite games of all time. Amazing story, characters, setting... The only downside is that I had to use guides to finish the game.

Aerith's death still breaks me. That boss fight with her theme playing is still amazing. Also Sephiroth's boss fight is one of my favourite boss fights of all time (excluding the 2 minute Supernova attack). Gameplay felt amazing in general, and the story really got to me.

So, to summarize, almost everything about this game is perfect.

What an amazing game. One of my favourite games ever.

It just feels awesome to control... and the story? I cried TWICE. The grandfather's death really hurt, and the ending too. It broke me.

I love this game and can't wait to play the sequel.

This update fixes the final boss and ending from the original game, and HOLY SHIT that was AMAZING.

The only downsides for me are:
- The difficulty spike (play this update in Easy for the best
experience). As for the trials, they weren't that bad, but I
understand why people are so mean towards them,
specially the last one.

- The popping. I was playing the Switch version and it was
even worse than in the original game.

Despite this, that Final Boss was just... Amazing. The trials were worth it. I was literally SCREAMING. This is what I always wanted Sonic to be.

For the best experience, play this in Easy (as mentioned before) and in the titan fights spam the stomp. Also when fighting The End it's important to use the side-step.

To summarize: Peak Fiction.

An AWESOME colletion of the old Sonic titles that were launched in the 90's. Not only does it have the Mega Drive games, it also has Game Gear and Master System titles. But wait, there's more! It has non-Sonic games such as The Ooze and Comix Zone.

What I loved the most is the gallery. Lots of concept arts, manuals, comics, and even videos!

Definitely worth it. I probably wouldn't be a Sonic fan if it wasn't for this collection.
