This scratched the itch that Wrestlequest failed to. A good, old-fashioned turn-based RPG, with a goofy sense of humor that isn't taking itself seriously. I never got to play this before, and this remake/remaster is a blast. Such simple gameplay, but it's just such a hoot. I love having a sullen Bowser on the team. And it's just so great that Square has to stick their insanity in with a visiting angel trying to seal an evil dimension, all with Mario trappings.
