this game is great.
as someone who gave up on 2D mario after the new soup fatigue this game had me thoroughly suprised. there is insane amount of creativity and variety throughout each of wonder's nine-ish worlds. its crazy how much they were able to do. the music is amazing as usual and the overhaul to the graphics were well worth the wait. everything is just stellar. this really is nintendo at the top of their game. the badge system is loads of fun to play around with all of the different options they give. they struck the right balance of useful but not too strong, fun but not required. the wonder effects are extremely fun to find and play around in. it had me guessing around every corner. if you gave up on 2D Mario just like me this is the game that will restore your faith.

its a great deal. the multiplayers are great and while i havent played all of the games in the collection yet what i have played has been great.

i love this game.
this was one of my first games id gotten from twitch prime for free and what deal this was. as someone who had never seen any of the 16 bit parts that were revealed in trailers the time travel twist worked amazingly for me. every bit of this game's design and writing felt so clever whenever a new plot point was revealed.
if you havent already played please do yourself the favor of picking it up. it will not disappoint.

one of the best platform fighters around. it does not deserve any smash clone comments.
vanilla is an amazing game by its own right and the fact that they gave all of the dlc fighters away for free rivals the charity of the pope. this game modded however, is the platform fighter mugen i never knew i needed.

i think i liked it? theres a lotta stuff i love but a lot thats much weaker.
the combat powers are a great addition but they gutted all of the good spider gadgets. and i much prefer the villains in this one but harry and mj are as flat as cardboard. they made the mj stuff more tolerable but id still rather be playing as peter or miles. the side missions i feel are much more engaging like the mysterio and fire cultist stuff, it's like entire dlc worth of content but there is noticably less side activities compared to the first.
overall i think this game definitely has much higher highs than 1 but its lows are horribly low. still i had a lot of fun so ig it got the spider-job done.

i love the civil war aspect. my dumbass little kid self thought black panther was batman for the longest time
this one deserved so much more. like they did nothing wrong. i hope 2 can make a comeback cuz this team deserves it
