I do wish this rpg, open world style was the way Pokemon games would lean towards and I do not understand how this game is older than Scarlet/Violet and still runs SO MUCH better, the difference is astounding. As all the other Pokemon games, the story isnā€™t anything revolutionary, but it is there :).

There are a few mechanics that give this game a breath of a fresh air, I am someone who loves quests so running around and collecting or researching pokemon for people made me very happy.

I do have to point out that this game is a little more difficult than the others Iā€™ve played, you canā€™t simply over level it, pokemon half my level could still spank me if the move was super effective against mine.

It is possible to complete the Pokedex without trading in this game, but I found some of them rely heavily on random event spawn chance.

This might be the first rogue like Iā€™ve ever played and I think that was an amazing introduction. Even on Normal this didnā€™t prove too difficult for me to beat.
Although a little gorey and creepy, the game was somehow still pleasant to look at. The art style and sound design create an absolutely perfect atmosphere for the theme. I did like the level design as well, the promise of rewards always gets me to explore more thoroughly.
I really enjoyed the balance of ā€œgo smash demons on a crusadeā€ and ā€œtake care of my little creaturesā€ when I needed a break from the smashing and rolling. If you are looking for a challenge, however, I do recommend cranking the difficulty up from the get go.

Not a game per say but virtual room and the best I've tried so far. Luckily I am in the midst of a course so I have had plenty of hours to test this even in demo version. This 'game' has everything I need:
- Lofi Music
- Optional addition of sounds like rain, birds even white/brown noise
- Customizable pomodoro timer
- Task list
- (Cute visuals) Ability to hide UI and remove distractions

EDIT I forgot very important feature for me - WEB BROWSER MUSIC!
