Finished MSQ today. It totally helps if you actually played the game I'm sure, because their individual arcs are complete in game- but it's servicable. It was a nice cheesy plot type of plot. Setting, gameplay, and music were fantastic. Going to start the meat of the content of this game sometime this week.

Was on a break for a while due to some busy stuff to do like finals, but started up again.

Finished Temenos' chapter 2, I think it was pretty good. I like the different theme of a story he has, it adds a lot of variety to the game. Accidentally cheesed his fight with Bewildering Dance summoning the golem thing and dealing 9999 damage but it was pretty fun nonetheless.

Didn't have much time to play due to being busy, managed to start Temenos' chapter 2. Back at Canalbrine.

First things first, managed to get an OLED TV for watching stuff and gaming! Now I don't have to rely on handheld mode for that OLED quality and sitting in front of my monitor for bigger screen. It's a huge difference, especially for something like Octopath which shines with a bigger OLED- beautiful game, totally worth the investment into the TV so far.

As stated yesterday, it seems that they did manage to hook me with the later part of his chapter 2- incredibly good set up, honestly. The boss was kinda funny, a dog that seemed like a chihuaha from the normal sprites and then the boss sprite was a fucking pit bull that was after me like I was a child. Not sure why it had 30 grand with Partitio's collect, but hey! Money is money.

The hooking portion was the deal with Roque about 80 billion leaves for his Steam Engine rights. Definitely seems like a fun journey to make for Partitio to earn that stupid amount of money, incredibly well done set up for that. Completed his chapter 2, will go and do Throne's chapter 2 now.

Finished Throne's chapter 2 of Mother's Route so far. It's.. okay? Idk, it felt kinda weak. The drinking game was decent enough, but her story so far isn't compelling me enough. Going to stop at Canalbrine to start Temenos' chapter 2, maybe a detective story will spice it up a bit.

Today's biggest accomplishment- hitting Lucky Break with Partitio's hire on the 100,000 leaves purchase for Scent of Commerce. It's even funnier since they make the 100k leaves such a big deal in terms of story.

Using the ship, I managed to get my hands on the EXP Augmentor and Octopuff Pot too- something I heard is a late game accessory so it's pretty funny breaking everything this early on.

Entered Clockbank for Partitio's Chapter 2- but before that, time to get all the NPC details through inquire/scrutinize and rob everyone blind with Agnea and Throne.

After discovering that literally everyone in this town has a main character-ass double life except like two dudes, started up Partitio's chapter 2- so far, interesting, but didn't hook me quite as much as his chapter 1 yet. Hopefully continuing it tomorrow will change it.

Finished Hikari's chapter 2. I really liked it, it was fun! The entire gladiator arc was fitting to his theme so far. The music also is super fantastic and always fits the moment.

I've said this prior but honestly, the way these chapters are structured is really charming. They're small, bite-sized chapters that are really a huge treat overall.

Finished the Heist DLC. Will continue when not worn out since it got a little bit tedious overall from the main game.
