Game literally wouldn't let me on the servers lmao

Wish I wanted to play more, but those fish take forever to bite.

Great with friends, but you need a veteran. I enjoyed my time but definitely made some moronic mistakes and my group only couldve gotten by with the strats one of the more experienced players knew.

I probably could enjoy more with this game, especially since I haven't played it all, but I won't seek out more time with this game.

Side order was awesome. But not awesome enough. It had an extremely interesting and well made rougelike progression system. But it also had way more untapped potential. It had a pretty alright story. But the only unique ideas in that story were its interaction with the overall lore of the games. It looks good, feels good, but it's not going to leave a permanent impression on you like some of the other splatoon games have had on me. Music was heat but still my least favorite in the series.

While I still played it, this was peak fitness.

It's fun, but I've hit some major roadblocks that halt ALL progress for a while.

Wish I got the wii u version but was stuck with this. I really like this game. Don't get it. Just don't. It misses a lot of incredible features that the Wii U version has. from Wii U to 2 it seems like it moves a bit sideways, but from 3DS to 2 it moves exclusively up, so just get the other two versions.

Again, Super Mario Maker in general is a treat, some of the most fun I've had, but just, for this. Don't.

Good puzzles, great story, cool achievements.

From my steam review prior to 100%ing:
The environments and characters of this game were incredible. The new puzzle mechanics were interesting and novel, and the overall puzzle design was great. There was a few non-puzzle areas I dislike simply because of their use of extremely out of the way portal surfaces for progression, which is admittedly consistent with base Portal 2. I really wished I could continue to follow these characters, though there was only three of them, they all were really interesting and in my opinion still have more to show. The finale was incredible. Well worth 6 hours, can't believe that this is free.

I'm annoyed at myself because I cheated a lot of puzzles, but even with that it was good. I'm reviewing this well after I played it, so my memory is a bit fuzzy, however the parts I do remember were either really good and made some interesting use of the mechanics, or were extremely odd. I didn't struggle on this puzzle like others did, but there was an odd puzzle that broke the game's own rules. Play it if you have way too much time on your hands and a good sense of spatial reasoning.

The game was enough for me to beat every level, but not to do it with 3 stars and certainly not for me to leave it on my phone. I could only finish it because I was able to abuse a glitch to prevent me from losing lives (close the game when it asks if you want to continue a level for money and it won't remove a life).

This game was really fun! was recommended by a friend and can't say it disappointed. Graphics were good even when I had to turn them down because my computer might've caught fire, the characters were really well written and designed.

I haven't played the previous games but I didn't feel like I needed to. The story wasn't anything special, and Spoiler the boss fight against Di Ravello in the volcano was the worst point of the game, even worse than when I went back through the entire map to collect every collectible one by one since I didn't grab that many prior to the final boss. The gear challenges were fun for the most part, except for some that were horrible to complete, several of them requiring hours of work, only to need to a different vehicle entirely. I beat all of them without DLC which my friend said was crazy since the wingsuit challenges are way more difficult without them.
The controls and movement was fun, a bit repetitive and for the most part very slow but with gear upgrades it got faster. Gunplay was not the greatest but it served the game well. Liberating different settlements was very repetitive too, but I didn't really care, with the only annoying type of Chaos object being the Police station. I probably would have more to say during my playthrough, but this everything I got from the game.

Mechanically really sound, but I'm gonna stand with what a lot of other people said.

The game essentially cuts its story in half, requiring that you play the DLC to see the ending, and that ending is really lackluster. The boss fight in that DLC is exactly what I wanted, except 100x more buggy and drawn out, which made it awful. The story is really badly written even without the split and bad boss fight, so just know that while there is a plot, you play this game for the game, not anything remotely well written.

I played this game on steam, and on that version the achievements are extremely annoying and badly made, sometimes triggering much earlier than they should or the one that requires that you to fly for 100k kilometers or something like that, needing to have either ~50hr of playtime or leave your computer for 5hr on a workshop map.

Most levels are really well made, but there's a lot of really easy or uninteresting ones. Not necessarily a bad thing though, they act as kind of a palette cleanser.

As I said at the start, the game is really good mechanically, all the abilities work well together and are generally smooth, allowing for some fun precision through the good levels.

The marathon mode was a nice challenge and is a really well implemented and fun idea.

The steam version has workshop support that allows users to make custom maps, which were really nice to play on.

Overall I think the game is alright, the drawbacks are pretty big drawbacks but this game isn't bad by any measure, and for people who like good movement in games regardless of anything else, try it at least.

better than mario kart somehow, played this for hours years ago and even recently with some friends, had a blast every time.

A must play for almost everybody. An incredible and unique story, with an even greater focus on gameplay. I've heard from others that things get repetitive but the game is regardless just fun. From start and especially to finish, they created incredible set pieces, infinitely better than the first game.
