mechanically well made, with a lovely presentation. The writing felt like it was trying its hardest to make me want to put the game down forever, just an unfathomably unpleasant experience for me personally.

It is worth checking out though. If you like the story it has to tell, you're left with a perfect gem of a game. It didn't click with me, but that doesn't mean it won't click for you.
