A fun and modern first-person shooter responsible for the push for the revival of classic shooters (such as Doom a couple of years later).

Graphics are great for the time the game was released and the solid framerate added a layer of quality to the gunplay that, combined with the crazy weaponry, made up for an incredibly fun campaign that is on the longer side when compared to other shooters. Stealth segments can slow things down considerably at certain points but there is enough action packed in the game to keep things moving. Additionally, I like the way they "modernized" the story elements of the game and characters (really enjoyed this modern version of BJ).
