would love to see this as a full game

i was very very much enjoying this for the first 7 or 8 hours but i slowly started to realize that all of the RPG elements are kind of just there for show. as much as i wanted to defend this, others are right - the combat is so easy that it makes the rest of the game a little boring. i was loving exploring the world until i realized the best rewards for exploration here are little lore dumps and new npcs to talk to - the gameplay centric rewards don't mean much to me when i kill every enemy in 3 stunlocked hits. idk. definitely will come back to this, but playing through it was just making me want to play king's field 4 really bad, so im gonna do that instead now

not sure if i'll come back to finish the rest after the credits roll, got kind of fatigued with it pretty quickly. still really love the visual style and design and all that

maybe im just really bad at it but this was really good for awhile and then got more frustrating than scary. it is genuinely very scary though

finished the bunker. prefer the house section but the bunker adds some cool lore and stuff

i think "horror immersive sim where there's one true enemy thats essentially unscripted and you have to solve puzzles while evading it" is one of my favorite genres for sure.

unfortunately i encountered a bug that's making it so i can't access the "true ending" or whatever. might have to restart the game which really sucks

ban david fincher sigourney weaver charles dance lock their stupid ass in alien³

this game looks so good for an NES game but unfortunately the game has been rotated 45 degrees diagonally

i used to play the bit trip series religiously as a little guy. really nice nostalgic trip, love the EPs from all the different games. need to play runner3 still.

beat on impossible mode with plasma cutter only. kinda easy ngl

its like if pac man was overwhelming and overstimulating

the last 2/3 chapters are insanely hard on survivalist but this game has so many fuking epic moment

my wife played this and i watched

kinda cool and very relaxing experience. the shadow men were a bit too on the nose for me, same issue i have with most liminal space/backrooms adjacent projects - the horror is in the space not in the creepy shadow man watching you.

the best moment of the game by far was in the hotel - the completely silent dining room/ballroom was genuinely a little scary to walk through, and then when you return back through it all the chairs are arranged differently. wish there were more moments like this throughout
