This is exactly what I've wanted in a more calm game like this. People get older and die, you have kids that actually grow up and develop personalities. Crazy that I only found out about it all these years later with this newer version.

Just remember that this game came out before stardew valley, like over a decade before. It's still an older game, but I still find it very very good.

Just gonna make this my review for the whole series. I have an ungodly amount of hours in these games. It's just made so well and It's rare such a "girly" game would get this much love put into it back then. All of the sequels add better elements and new styles while still being new enough that they were worth the price. The only issue I could see people having is that the game is sorta short story wise but I don't mind much myself; I can spend hour making outfits and doing hair/makeup.

I love this game, I watch a lot of Ask a Mortician (who I was not surprised to see in the credits) and this does a wonderful job helping you understand what they might have to go through.
